WE BELIEVE THAT...Life change and loving relationships best occurs through small groups. Thats why we think everyone needs to be in a small group---besides, not being in a group is like walking on a tightrope without a net... someday you're going to need friends you can count on to be there when you need them.
WHAT IS A SMALL GROUP?
Five to fifteen people who meet regularly in an informal setting, usually at a home, in order to develop relationships and to grow spiritually. These groups also reach out to unchurched people and are led by trained leaders. Groups enjoy sharing, prayer, worship, Bible discussion and a lot of fun! Groups generally meet for a couple of hours each week.
HOW CAN I CHECK OUT A GROUP?
It's simple, give the leader or host of the group a call to make sure when the group is meeting, then come to the group for a visit. If you like what you see---come back the next week, if not---then feel free to try another group. It won't be long until you find a group that feels like home!

Sunday Evening Study Group: We are meeting this evening at 6pm to complete our discussion of: a) the Trinity and B) Who Is Jesus? Is Jesus God or a created “spirit creature?” Is he eternal or was he Michael the Archangel? Is he equal to, or lesser than the Father? There have been so many questions and so much discussion. We meet from 6-7pm for study and discussion; we take a break from 7-7:25pm for food and fellowship; and then we meet for wrap-up/study/discussion from 7:30-8pm. All are welcome anytime. (Personal Note: If I would happen to be “a little late” for the meeting this evening, it would have NOTHING AT ALL to do with the Jets/Patriots playing the 4:15 game.)
Ladies Study and Care group:
Once again, this has been a great 11 weeks. The ladies are taking a break for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. However, they will be back meeting again sometime after the New Year. More information will be coming, but in the meantime, if you have ideas about what to watch and study, please speak with Debbie Beckley, Barbra Alt, or any of the ladies in the Monday evening or Friday morning groups.
Binder/Campbell Small Group: We had a great time at our last group. We begin with a fellowship meal at 6:00pm, followed by a time of singing, prayer, and discussion/study beginning around 7:15pm. Nursery Care is provided.
Our lesson for Friday evening will be from John 15, verses 6 and 7. The passage reads: 6 If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. Please read the passage and meditate on these verses before the group meets. What is God saying to you about this passage or through this passage?
