Operation Christmas Child
Once again this year we had so many shoeboxes brought in. Thank you to so many who participated to help make this Christmas special to so many who otherwise would not have received anything at all. A special thank you to Ingrid and Malari Lapp who oversaw this ministry…and I think they also had something to do with “bringing an angel” to take all of the presents away.

Proverbs 31 Red-Hatters
For the Red-Hatters, and anyone else interested, there will be a Christmas Party/Gathering on Saturday, December 12th, at 6:00pm at the Two Mile Inn. It will be a great time together of fellowship and reminiscing. Please speak to Betty Warfle for more information.
Congregational Meeting
The governing board of this church is calling for a congregational meeting following the morning worship service, December 6th. The purpose of the meeting is for the congregation to elect two (2) members to the Nominating Committee. Debby Campbell and Lynn Keck have already been elected by the governing board.
Advent
Next Sunday marks the 1st Sunday of Advent (a season in which we look forward to, and ponder, the coming of the Christ Child on Christmas morning). On each Sunday of Advent we will light one of the candles on the Advent wreath culminating in the lighting of the Christ Candle on December 27th. Also, each of those Sundays we will be singing Christmas carols together at the beginning of each service. Next Sunday’s service the full worship team will be leading worship and we will begin Advent with “Go Tell It on the Mountain.” I am looking so forward to being with you at this season of the year.
