Worship, Reflection, Praise, & Adoration

We return for a moment to Good Friday and  all that Jesus did for us
on that Terrible and yet Blessed Day, preparing us for Real Life
“Beautiful, Scandalous Night”
“The Niver Sisters”

And after that Good Friday and Crucifixion, 3 days later, Jesus Rose from the dead.
Today is Easter Sunday—He Is Risen!!  He Is Risen Indeed!!
And today, we celebrate His victory over death through the songs we sing,
the prayers we pray, and the Scriptures we consider
Jesus is alive and so are we because of all that He has done.
“I am the resurrection and the life,” Jesus said.  “The one who believes in me shall live,
even if they die.  Do you believe this?” He asked.
This is the Good News of Easter!!
And, my prayer is always that we will hear God’s voice and that He will give us
“ears to hear” and “hearts to perceive what the Lord says to the churches”

Responsive Reading: Easter
Pastor: He is Risen!         Congregation: He is Risen indeed!
Pastor: He is Risen!          Congregation: He is Risen indeed!
Pastor: There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.
Congregation: His appearance was like lightening, and his clothes were as white as snow.  The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
Pastor: The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
Congregation: He is not here; He is risen, just as He said.  Come and see the place where He lay.  Then go quickly and tell His disciples: He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee.  There you will see him.  Now I have told you.
Pastor: He is Risen!           Congregation: He is Risen indeed!
Pastor: Do not be afraid.  I am the first and the last.
Congregation: I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive forever and ever!  And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
Pastor: I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.      He is Risen!          Congregation: He is Risen indeed!
Pastor: He is Risen!           Congregation: He is Risen indeed!
